The service
RuleStack is free and provided as-is, with no warranty and no uptime commitment. It is a directory of public files, not advice about how to configure your own tooling.
Whose content this is
Every instruction file shown here belongs to the repository that publishes it and remains under that repository’s own licence. RuleStack displays it with attribution and a link to the source; it claims no ownership over any of it, and reproducing a file is subject to the terms of the project it came from.
The classification, scores, comparisons and adoption measurements are ours.
Accuracy
Capability rows are read from vendor documentation by hand and carry the date they were last checked. Adoption numbers are counted from the corpus RuleStack indexes, which is a sample of public repositories rather than the whole of GitHub — they describe that corpus, and every one of them is printed with the day it was measured so you can judge how stale it is.
Using the API
The read API is open and may be used in your own products. Please cache responses — the data changes once a night, so anything polling faster than that is spending requests for nothing.
